MP Ration Card Categories & Eligibility Criteria (पात्रता पर्ची एवं समग्र मानदंड)
In Madhya Pradesh, public distribution benefits are distributed under the Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana (मुख्यमंत्री अन्नपूर्णा योजना) across Priority Household (PHH) and Antyodaya (AAY) categories.

Priority Household (PHH): Families residing in rural MP earning below ₹1,00,000 annually, or urban families earning below ₹1,20,000. Allocated 5 kg food grains per member monthly.

Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY): Issued to destitute BPL families, disabled head of household, and landless agricultural laborers. Allocated 35 kg food grains per family monthly.

How to Apply Online via MP Ration Mitra (समग्र एवं राशन मित्र)
Citizens in Madhya Pradesh can apply for a new Ration Card / Patrata Parchi online through the state e-District portal edistrict.mp.gov.in, rationmitra.mp.gov.in, or at any local Lok Seva Kendra (लोक सेवा केंद्र).

First, create your family profile on the Samagra Portal (samagra.gov.in) to obtain your 8-digit Samagra Family ID and 9-digit Member IDs.

Visit rationmitra.mp.gov.in or edistrict.mp.gov.in and select “Application for BPL Ration Card / Eligibility Slip”.

Enter your 8-digit Samagra Family ID. The portal will automatically populate all verified family member details from the Samagra database.

Upload mandatory scanned documents: Domicile Certificate (म.प्र. मूल निवासी प्रमाण पत्र), Income Certificate (आय प्रमाण पत्र), BPL Survey Certificate / Category proof, Aadhaar cards, and electricity bill.

CRITICAL STEP: Submit the application online to generate your Lok Seva Reference Number. The application is routed to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO Janpad Panchayat) in rural areas or Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) in urban areas for verification.

Once approved by the Municipal Corporation or Janpad Panchayat, your family’s Eligibility Slip (पात्रता पर्ची) is generated digitally on the MP Ration Mitra portal.
Visit rationmitra.mp.gov.in > Click “Eligibility Slip Search”. Enter your Samagra Family ID to view and print your Patrata Parchi. Present this slip to your assigned FPS dealer to collect monthly food grains.
Download the M-Ration Mitra Mobile App from Google Play Store or visit your FPS shop ePoS machine to complete thumbprint e-KYC authentication. Unlinked family members will be omitted from grain allocation.
