How to Find Your Name in the Ration Card List 2026
The National Food Security Act (NFSA) beneficiary list is updated regularly. If you have recently applied for a new ration card or added a family member, you can check the official online list to confirm your name is registered. This guide shows you exactly how to find your village or ward list.

Go to nfsa.gov.in, click “Ration Cards” in the top menu, then select “Ration Card Details On State Portals”. Click your state name. On your state portal, select your District, Block/Tehsil, Gram Panchayat/Ward, and finally your Fair Price Shop (FPS Dealer). A complete list of ration card holders in your area will appear. Press Ctrl+F and type your name to find it quickly.

If you don’t know your ration card number yet, the best way is to open the complete list for your local area (Panchayat or Ward) and search for your name manually.

Look for a link called “NFSA Eligibility List” (or “राशन कार्ड की पात्रता सूची” in Hindi states). Click on it.

Select your District from the list. Next, choose your Block / Tehsil (if you live in a rural area) or Town / Municipality (if urban).

Select your Gram Panchayat or Ward Number. You will see a list of Fair Price Shop (FPS) dealers in that area. Click on the blue hyperlinked number next to your local dealer’s name.

Do not download any file named “Ration_Card_List.apk” sent via WhatsApp. Scammers use these fake apps to steal OTPs and hack bank accounts. The government only provides lists on official .gov.in websites.

If your name is in the list but your Aadhaar e-KYC is pending, your grain supply will be stopped. Visit your local FPS dealer (Kotedar) immediately to authenticate your thumbprint on the e-PoS machine.
